RAMS - Summer Bridge 2010

RAMS-Summer Bridge is an eight-week summer mentoring program for people ages 16 to 20, currently enrolled in or recently graduated from SFUSD high schools. RAMS is the lead agency and is collaborating with Horizons Unlimited, Samoan Community Development Center, Bayview Hunter's Point Foundation for Community Improvement, and the SF Wellness Initiative. The program is funded by Mental Health Services Act, San Francisco Department of Public Health, CBHS. The main location is at Horizons Unlimited (440 Potrero Street, San Francisco, CA 94110), however activities will take place all over the city.  

What is the purpose of RAMS-Summer Bridge 2010?
To promote awareness of psychological well-being and foster interest in the helping professions (social worker, counselor, psychologist, therapist, etc.).

Who can apply?
Youth ages 16 to 20 years old, currently enrolled or recently graduated from SFUSD high schools. 

What will we do each week?
The program will be 4 hours a day, 3 days a week, between June 14th and August 6th, 2010.
